Scott Ryan Fabrizio Forever in Our Hearts

Events

The tribute to celebrate Scott's life on Friday evening at the Academy was an extraordinary event. We are once again deeply moved by the kindness and generosity of our community. The night will always remain a happy memory for us. The talented performances, guest speakers, and the video tribute had us laughing as much as welling up with tears. We are grateful to school assistant superintendent Bill Olson, and principal Bill McQuirk for their support in fulfilling one of Scott's biggest dreams - to allow the students to perform and enjoy their music in their new auditorium.

Our special thanks go to the Galipeau Family and Michael Towers for their tireless efforts to coordinate and produce the event; the assisting WA Staff - especially Michael Towers for being Scott's mentor and directing and MC'ing the program, and Brandan Eang for designing the promotional poster; the many parent and student volunteers; Peter Troisi and Robbie Jarvis for the sound engineering; the musicians for their talented performances; the guest speakers; Steve Ennis and friends for producing the video tribute; Liam Flaherty for the sweatshirts and tee-shirts; Anne Recchia for raffling one of her special paintings; our family and friends for donating baked goods; Floral Arts; Ledgewood Graphics and Printing; Coca Cola; VeryFine; Dunkin' Donuts and Donelan's.

We are thankful and proud to have had Scott for 17 wonderful years. His bright spirit lives on in our hearts, made even brighter by those who share his spirit. The proceeds from the event will benefit the Scott Ryan Fabrizio Memorial Scholarship Fund, allowing Scott's memory to become a permanent thread in the fabric that defines this community.

Thank you all and God Bless.

We continue to be overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from this community.

The memorial concert tonight at the Parish Center for the performing Arts, is yet another example of people helping each other during a time of great tragedy.

Scott, will be remembered by the perpetual annual scholarship that will be possible because of the efforts of the many volunteers needed for this show and from the donations by all of these great kids.

Thanks to Anthony DeGennaro and the PCA council for coordinating the event, and to the talented performers for making it such a huge success.
